INSURANCE PARTICIPATION

All UGNJ physicians are Medicare participating providers. UGNJ physicians also participate in most major health insurance plans. Participating Insurance

UGNJ will submit claims for participating insurance companies. Copays are expected to be paid at the time of service and we will balance bill you for any additional cost-sharing or deductibles per your insurance benefit plan. Several of our offices may request payment of your deductible, if applicable, at the time of your visit.

Non-participating Insurance

If you have insurance with a plan that your physician does not participate with, payment is due at time of service. We will provide you a claim form upon request to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. If you are having a surgical procedure, UGNJ will collect a deposit prior to scheduling your procedure—payment in full is due prior to the surgery date. Payment arrangements can be accommodated upon request.
